Weekly Update & Miscellaneous Meanderings
Wadean was busy making some wonderful samples! But I will leave that for her to tell you about! She has a wonderful style and can really pull things together quickly and has an amazing way of combing things! (I really need her to help me catch up!)
One of the instructors was there working on some personal pages. I love her work and have been lucky enough to get to know her better! I have some new ideas after checking out her work this weekend!
Cathy and her daughter joined us later. We spent our evening picking on Cathy and watching her young daughter create amazing layouts. She is a very talented young lady... like mother like daughter?
Doris dropped by... I told her that one of these days she has to do a guest blog post (If you know her you will know just how much she "LIKES" computers! *insert some sarcasm here!*)
Helen was busy working on some pages from a bridal shower, we also found out that she looks great in a skirt and bowling shoes! :)
Karen even stopped by for a visit. She didn't have anything to work on, if I had of know that I would have brought some of mine for her to get done!
I think that's everyone... I hope I didn't miss anyone!
So what did I do. I picked up some photos on my way to work (I was all out of photos to scrapbook!). I like to plan my layouts and crop all the photos before I start. I managed to get 359 photo's organized and cropped in 3 hours! Wow I was impressed with myself!
COMING SOON - our blog is moving and will have a new look very soon! Stay tuned for more information!
Scrapbooking with Preschoolers at Home:
How I get stuff done in my scrapbooks with three preschoolers at home. As Bob the Builder would say... "Can we do it? YES we can!"
My tip this week: Keep organized it helps to be able to pick up a project quickly and accomplish something. I have spent a couple days reorganizing my paper so I can quickly find what I need. I have all my paper sorted by colour so I can just pull out what I need when I need it. (Apparently PINK is the colour of choice at my house, I have 2 bins of it! Blue, Green, Brown and Purple are my next favorites. I also have some special sections specific to Boys, Girls, Zoo (I have way to much Zoo paper!), Birthday, Christmas, Winter, Spring, Halloween and other MISC holidays!

Funny of the week at my house:
We had a break through this week, my first born actually ASKED to go potty (solids). I am hoping we are done with Potty training for the boys now! What is it that they always have to get rid of their 'solids' at supper time?
P.S. We would love to hear from you please leave a comment! :)
