Rain anyone?

Weekly Update & Miscellaneous Meanderings

Wow is it dry out there!  I am hoping for a little rain very soon.  Rain is good for my Garden and the farmers and it will also give me some time to work on some scrapbook pages.  I must admit I am not one for this hot weather anyway but we really do need the rain.

I have been a little slow in the scrapbooking department lately.  I am preparing for a visit from the in-laws (who I can't wait to show all that I have done so far in my books!).   We (which means my husband) has been trying to get bathroom fixtures installed in our basement as we only had a roughed in bathroom down there.  So what does this have to do with scrapbooking?  Well I am happy to report that I actually remembered to take a Before picture for my book!  This is pretty exciting for me as usually we are almost done before I take my 'before' photos!

Scrapbooking with Preschoolers at Home:
How I get stuff done in my scrapbooks with three preschoolers at home.  As Bob the Builder would say... "Can we do it?  YES we can!"

My tip this week: Involve those kids, no matter what age.  If you want to get things done the best way is to get the kid/kids to help.  Mine are young but when they want to check things out I try to find something then can help with.

Funny of the week at my house:

Well the vacuum obsession is growing at our house... now both boys are fighting over who gets to vacuum.  Everyday I get asked Mom can I vacuum.  My mother thought it was pretty funny when I told one of my boys he couldn't vacuum today if he wasn't good!
