My husband is an Elementary School Teacher so that means "Honey, can you come up with a project for my kids?.....please" So this year I took an idea from Doris's Make n' Take at this past weekend's National Scrapbook Retreat., she had made a mini book using brown lunch bags. I like to keep projects cost effective, so I designed a card for the student's to make; using one brown paper bag, cardstock and one printed paper, that I picked up from our Sale bin. I stamped a flower image on the front, which the kids can colour, attached a ribbon pull to one piece of cardstock for them to write a message or poem, to mom on and the inside will display their photo.
Looking for ideas for a Mother's Day card, we have several Jolee's dimensional stickers and stickers from Karen Foster specifically for Mother's Day projects.
Until next Thursday I leave you with this; "Being a mother means that your heart is no longer yours; it wanders wherever your children do." - unknown
