Weekly Update & Miscellaneous Meanderings
I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day, at least we had some beautiful weather for a change. It is currently snowing at my house and I would prefer the sunshine we had on Sunday. At my house Mother's Day is pretty much the only day that I give up my camera and get myself on the 'other' side. I love to scrapbook, I just don't like to be in the photos! I always be sure to get a pic with the kids on Mother's Day though. So Sunday was my PHOTO OP for the year! :)I enjoyed a wonderful day with my kids. We were busy planting trees, 6 large ones that my hubby dug out of my cousins backyard and 15 seedlings that we got for Arbor Day. It was a great day outside and I managed to collect some new photos for my albums!
Last night I spent some time at the store helping out with our Cricut class. The topic was vinyl and I am already addicted! (We are currently waiting for an order of more vinyl to come in very soon!) I enjoyed helping out and was getting excited when everyone was unpacking their Cricuts! I also love the smell of a new Cricut mat and there was a few there. It was a fun night! Everyone had a variety of projects to choose from including a mirror tile, a framed piece and a votive holder. From what I hear the next Cricut class is going to cover cutting rubber stamps, watch our website for the updated class schedule!
Scrapbooking with Preschoolers at Home #8:
How I get stuff done in my scrapbooks with three preschoolers at home. As Bob the Builder would say... "Can we do it? YES we can!"
#8 -What to do when your kids are disagreeable during your scrabooking time. There are days when I don't get much done at all. The kids are fighting over toys or whining to the point that I can't concentrate. So what do I do? I may try to do a bit of organizing or I just give up for the day, and try again the next. It does happen so I just wait till the next day and hope that the next day is a better one!

Funny of the week at my house:
When helpful is unhelpful! My boys wanted to help dad fill in the dirt around our new trees. There they were our there, in the way of course, digging in the dirt with all their might and trying to put it under the tree. They were working so hard it was funny to watch (of course I got the camera and the video camera!). They really like to 'help out'! We had a couple of smaller trees so I dug a hole and let the boys fill them in! They had so much fun, something tells me that when they are teenagers they won't see yard work as a fun thing to do!
P.S. We would love to hear from you please leave a comment! :)
