Weekly Update & Miscellaneous Meanderings
Well it seems as though Easter has passed and Christmas has arrived? I guess since spring has been put on hold for a few days or so I guess it's time to get some more scrapbooking done! See snow isn't that bad of thing, well if you don't have to drive in it that is!
Scrapbooking with Preschoolers at Home #4:
How I get stuff done in my scrapbooks with three preschoolers at home. As Bob the Builder would say... "Can we do it? YES we can!"
#4 - Last week I was talking about organization, this is probably the most important step. If you aren't organized you wont be able to get a page or two done when the kids are actually being good. So make sure that you are totally organized, it took me quite a lot of time to get through step #3 but it was well worth it! So now that you have everything in arms reach what's next?
I like to get all my photos organized and ready to go. I am a chronological scrapbooker so everything must be in order, every now and again I step outside the box and maybe one picture will be out of order! (This is really tough for me!). I like to get all my pictures organized by what pages they will go on, this way I can be ready to work on a layout when I have time. (Of course I have to scrapbook them in order too! :) ) Once I have a stack of pictures organized for a few page layouts then it's on to step #5. Tune in next week for #5

Funny of the week at my house:
My kids birthdays are coming up in June and July, since it seems to take me forever to get anything done I am starting to pick themes for their birthday party now. (Actually I am a bit behind, usually I have their invites made by now! :) ) Well I know I am doing the Train theme for the boys but I wasn't sure what I was going to do for the girl. The other day I was bugging my Husband to see what he thought. I asked him what we should do for our Daughters birthday, before he could answer one of the boys said "Makka Pakka". So apparently one of our 3 year olds is our new party planner! (I am hoping to use my cricut to cut out a Makka Pakka stamp to make the invite cards, I will let you know how that goes!)
See you next Tuesday!
P.S. We would love to hear from you please leave a comment! :)
