Vinyl Rocks & Scrapbooking with Preschoolers at Home - Installment #2

Weekly Update & Miscellaneous Meanderings
This week was a week for Stickles, Brads and Flowers at my house.  Almost every page I worked on had some extra bling added to the pages!

I am loving Vinyl these days too!  No not the kind that comes with music melted into it (for those of you who remember records!)  I am talking about the vinyl you can cut with your Cricut machine.  No wall in my house is safe now!  I have butterflies from the Home Accent cartridge on my linen closet door and a butterfly on my kitchen cupboard door.  As you walk into my house I have pictures of all my sweet adorable children so I cut out the word "Family" to put on the wall.  My next project is to find a great quote to put on my bedroom wall above the baby pics of my kiddos.  Yet another great use for the Cricut other than scrapbooking!  P.S. We have samples of the vinyl in the store come in an check it out!

Scrapbooking with Preschoolers at Home #2:
How I get stuff done in my scrapbooks with three preschoolers at home.

#2 - Find an hour a day where your children or child is typically quieter or is usually good.  I set aside an hour each weekday to work on my scrapbook(s).  I make sure my kids all have something to do and I include them when possible. They love to scrape the cricut mat after I am done and I even have them recycling the scrap pieces in a special bucket just for them.  They also love to press the cut button on my cricut/slice.

Funny of the week at my house:
This morning #1 son was up early (as usual).  I dragged him out of his room and brought him into bed with me until everyone else was awake.  So #2 Son wakes up, so Boy #1 heads off to their room, opens the door and says good morning!  (I am still groggy and trying to get out of bed at this point!)  Then he says "I make breakfast, get up go Potty, Mom still sleeping".  By this point I am wondering what will come next!  I waited for a while to see if #1 son was going to get breakfast ready (that would be scary).  Off they went to do their business.  I get out of the Ladies room to #2 Son telling me to wake baby up.  He is holding his brothers very full pull-up and he wants to throw it in the garbage in Baby's room!  What will they think of next I wonder?
